Nevermourn & RoomVR – Dawning Light [Drum & Bass] | A State of Sugar: Candy

Last week, our friends over at A State of Sugar have released their brand new community compilation album, Candy, which is full of high quality tunes from both renown fandom musicians as well as new names! This track is available for free download on the ASoS Bandcamp page, along with the full album; please find the link below.
Despite being fairly recent arrivals to the scene, Nevermourn and RoomVR managed to build a reputation for themselves; they are responsible for some of the most memorable releases in pony DnB within the last year, and have of course previously appeared on the channel.
With Dawning Light, both producers combined their respective skills to create a truly outstanding product. The track revolves around a smooth trumpet sample, which is supported by cascading, jazzy chords and impressively clean percussion. Little bits of ambience here and there help elevate the lovely, relaxed vibe to a truly immersive experience, and as such a track that is deserving of many re-listens.
Having set out to capture the serenity with which the first rays of sunlight peak out from beyond the horizon in song, Nevermourn and RoomVR have certainly accomplished their goal brilliantly.
